Personal Space
The personal space is a private and secure workspace, dedicated to each user.
It allows you to centralize your files (documents, images, projects, etc.) in a personalized folder structure, completely
isolated from other users. Thanks to this logical separation, you benefit from enhanced confidentiality, simplified management, and clear organization.
You retain full control over your data, with the option to share files or link them to a collaborative space without duplication, using the anchoring feature. It serves as the main entry point into the Sync-in ecosystem, suitable for all profiles: regular users, project managers, or occasional contributors.

Organizationβ
Each user has a dedicated personal space, organized in an isolated environment that is not shared with other users. This isolation ensures security, privacy, and organizational clarity.
The personal space is accessible from the Personal
menu in the Files
app.
Key features:
- Storage of all file types: documents, images, videos, archives, etc.
- Custom folder structure: organize your files freely with a personalized folder tree
- Full control: as the owner, you have all permissions (create, edit, delete, share, etc.)
π‘οΈ Your personal space is private β no other user can access it.
Sharing & Collaborationβ
Sharing is done via the Share
function in the File Manager.
Three options are available:
- Share with one or more internal users or groups
- Generate a share link for an external user
- Anchor files to a collaborative space
Trashβ
When you delete a file, it is automatically moved to your personal spaceβs trash.
As long as the trash is not emptied, the file can be restored to its original location.
This rule also applies to actions performed through WebDAV and Synchronization.
Quotaβ
Your personal space may be subject to a storage quota.
