OnlyOffice Integration

The integration of OnlyOffice into Sync-in enables seamless and secure collaborative editing directly from the web interface.
It provides a shared workspace where multiple users can edit a document in real time, while
respecting the permissions defined via Sync-in.

Features​

With OnlyOffice, you can edit Office documents directly in your browser, without downloading them first.

  • 📄 Supports text documents (.docx), spreadsheets (.xlsx) and presentations (.pptx)
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Real-time collaboration: authorized members can edit a document simultaneously and see others’ changes live
  • 🔐 Access rights enforcement: the permissions set in Sync-in are automatically applied to the editing session

Access Requirements​

  • The administrator must have configured and enabled the OnlyOffice integration with Sync-in.
  • Documents can be opened from the File Manager using the View or Edit actions.

Supported Formats​

OnlyOffice is compatible with the most common file formats:

  • Microsoft Office: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx (full support)
  • OpenDocument: .odt, .ods, .odp (partial support depending on version)
  • Standard text formats: .txt, .csv, etc.
