Version 2.2 of Sync-in is now available.

It brings improvements to full-text search (PDF OCR, Markdown indexing), and introduces space management from the administration panel as well as a new event system, enabling dynamic updates of quotas and content indexing.

Version 2.1 of Sync-in is now available and introduces a visual refresh of the web interface.

This release brings many improvements to the user experience, with an interface that is clearer, more consistent, and more uniform.

Sync-in reaches a major milestone with the release of version 2.0, introducing OpenID Connect (OIDC) support, a key standard for federated authentication, widely adopted in modern and sovereign identity infrastructures.

This evolution is one of the most requested features by the community. It is currently the most upvoted item on our GitHub Discussions page, and we are very excited to deliver it in Sync-in 2.0.

As part of an approach focused on openness and technological neutrality, we wanted to enhance Sync-in with an open office alternative. While LibreOffice is gradually replacing proprietary office suites in many information systems, Collabora Online represents its natural extension for collaborative online editing.
