We are happy to announce the release of Sync-in Server 1.2.0.
This version brings new features, several bug fixes, security improvements, and highlights the support of our growing community!

✨ New Features​

  • 🔧 Server configuration can now be overridden using SYNCIN_ environment variables
  • 🐳 Support for PUID/PGID in the Docker image for better file permission handling

  • 📂 Proper encoding of file paths with special characters + improved error handling in the backend
  • 🎞️ Reliable detection of .mp4 video files
  • 🖼️ Improved rendering of very wide images (aspect ratio preserved)

  • 📁 Removal of duplicate entries in recursive shares
