Sync-in 1.2

We are happy to announce the release of Sync-in v1.2.0.
This version brings new features, several bug fixes, security improvements, and highlights the support of our growing community!

✨ New Features​

  • Server configuration can now be overridden using SYNCIN_ environment variables
  • Support for PUID/PGID in the Docker image for better file permission handling

  • Proper encoding of file paths with special characters + improved error handling in the backend
  • Reliable detection of .mp4 video files
  • Improved rendering of very wide images (aspect ratio preserved)
  • Smoother triggering of the context menu
  • Removal of duplicate entries in recursive shares

  • Security patches: Path Traversal and SSRF
